OUR STORY

My name is Dr. Paige Fowler.

I graduated from MSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

My husband, Mike, and I moved to Northern Michigan with our two dogs after graduation. We're now a family of five, having welcomed our son,

Jack, in the summer of 2020.

I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was five years old and actually have a framed drawing from first grade to prove it! Fast forward to my first job as a vet assistant at 15 years old and I was already considering clinic ownership because of the amazing doctor/mentor who took me under her wing. I achieved my first dream of becoming a doctor in 2016 and then moved to Williamsburg with my husband, Mike. I’ve worked at several different clinics since that time and, while each of them taught me valuable lessons, none felt like home. My husband always encouraged me to follow my dream of ownership and for several years we pursued purchasing an existing clinic. However, with large corporations buying up a majority of the privately owned clinics in recent years, we were left with few viable options. That is why we decided to take the leap and create something entirely our own!

 

Williamsburg Animal Hospital is truly my lifelong dream come to fruition. I am so excited to be able to start fresh in the community that we love so much and cannot wait to foster new relationships and find ways to give back! I love working with animals, but know behind those animals are amazing people! I want clients to be excited to come into the clinic and feel welcomed as neighbors and friends.

 

My husband and I are both excited to get to know everyone in our community (while also welcoming clients who choose to see us from further away) and provide this area with top-quality patient care at Williamsburg Animal Hospital. We can’t wait to meet all of you and your amazing pets!
